Aurich and other matters

Well after saying that my next post would be reasonably soon I took a huge break from blogging and since then understandably quite a lot has happened. Most prominent and recent of these many events would probably be a class trip to Aurich last week. There was an international meeting of schools in Aurich, the German group from Braunschweig which was fortunate enough to include me, a Dutch group from the Hague, an Italian group from Milan and last but not least a Spanish group from Asturias. We stayed at a place called Europa Haus, which was a simply fantastic venue. The week consisted mainly of a set of workshops into which the participants of each group were divided. I participated in the music workshop. At the end of the week each of the groups presented what they had achieved. The music workshop presented three songs, sweet home Alabama which I sung, knocking on heaven’s door in which I played the drums and sweet dreams by Eurythmics to which I clapped along where appropriate. Now it is lunch time but I will right more soon and I mean it this time.
